Bayer Aleve
We created a regional animation campaign for Bayer, promoting the Aleve brand in different countries. The main piece was a 15-second animated ad divided into three scenes that explained the product’s benefits. From this master version, we produced one 10-second cut and three 5-second ads, designed for quick placements across multiple platforms. In total, the campaign resulted in 35 adapted video versions for different markets.

The Importance of Planning for Multiple Formats
The original request included 35 adapted versions based on one main animation with three scenes. All videos were produced in horizontal format (1920x1080), since they were planned for horizontal social media placements and television broadcast.
After delivery, the client requested a vertical version for social media reels. For the last two scenes, we adjusted the scale and extended the background in post-production to fit the vertical format. However, the first scene was more complex. It featured an explosion where particles moved beyond the horizontal frame. If we simply resized the original version, those particles would be cropped.
As a result, we had to return to the animation stage and rework that scene specifically for vertical use. When clients request both horizontal and vertical formats from the start, we usually produce a square 4K master version that adapts easily to both. Planning for multiple formats early helps avoid extra time, added costs, and production delays.
