This 12-episode docu-series, created for the Costa Rican government and financed by Auto Mercado, explores different regions of the country to uncover traditional cuisine, culinary customs, and recipes passed down through generations.
Each 10-minute episode, blending live action with animation, highlights unique agricultural products and their role in Costa Rica's intangible cultural heritage. We handled everything from script to production and delivery.

July is a month to celebrate Guanacaste, its customs, traditions, and of course, its rich culinary legacy! The province offers a wide array of dishes that enhance our national cuisine, and Episode 07 of "Bicentenario: 200 Years of Independent Cuisine" introduces us to a delightful dessert with a cheerful name, sure to lift anyone's spirits: La Sabrosera.

This episode of "Bicentenario: 200 Years of Independent Cuisine" celebrates the rich heritage of Afro-descendant culture. The journey takes us through Guácimo and Puerto Viejo in Limón, exploring the significance of yuca and its deep roots in our history.
